Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, October 29, 2018 – Woodbridge, a global leader of foam technology specializing in fully-integrated systems and solutions, announces it was recognized as the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2018 Ontario winner in the “Industrial Manufacturing” category. This is the first time Woodbridge was acknowledged by EY.
Woodbridge Founder Bob Beamish, Chairman Bob Magee, President and CEO Charles Daly, and Chief Operating Officer Terry Campbell accepted the award on behalf of the company’s more than 7,500 teammates. During the ceremony, a special citation was given to Woodbridge for “Innovative Global Strategies.” This acknowledgement was presented to Woodbridge for the unique mark the company has made on the entrepreneurial landscape and the diverse way it embraces the entrepreneurial spirit.
In his acceptance speech, Magee commented, “It’s quite an honor to be a finalist amongst so many deserving organizations. I’m here with three colleagues. We represent four generations of management at Woodbridge. Together, we want to thank our teammates around the world, for making our status tonight a reality. On their behalf, I would also like to recognize our founder Bob Beamish. Bob was our first CEO, and he enabled a unique, innovative, caring culture.
