Woodbridge Acquires Full Ownership of Joint Venture Woodbridge FoamPartner Company Located in Chattanooga (TN, USA) to form ‘Woodbridge Technical Products Company’

Chattanooga, USA, [August 11, 2017] – The Woodbridge Group, an international leader in the development and production of innovative urethane and particle foam technologies, is pleased to announce the acquisition and 100% ownership of Woodbridge FoamPartner Company and will begin operating as Woodbridge Technical Products Company (WTP) as of August 11, 2017.

This acquisition enables The Woodbridge Group to further support current customers with a broad line of technical polyurethane foam solutions.  The breadth of products provided by WTP, coupled with the Woodbridge research and development and product development teams, advances an already strong customer commitment to future innovation.  The newly named business unit Woodbridge Technical Products Company reinforces the organization’s strategic focus and will continue to manufacture slab urethane foams for a broad range of existing customers and markets including consumer products, automotive, filtration, medical and industrial.

The inception of the joint venture in 2007 created a win-win situation with successful growth of The Woodbridge Group. But strategic developments led us to conclude that it was in the best interest of both parties to dissolve our arrangement. We will be able to meet our obligations towards our customers, and we look forward to the continued collaboration with FoamPartner on new terms.
