Learn MoreTroy, MI [January 11, 2018] – The Woodbridge Group, a global supplier of urethane and particle foam technologies, recently introduced VirtualComfort™. This predictive seat comfort simulation evaluates the performance of a seat system that uses our foam products. VirtualComfort™ calculates the position and pressure distribution of an occupant, and evaluates the comfort of the seat before prototyping. As a result, this data provides best-in-class product performance while reducing development time and cost.
Based on industry trends and technologies, the Advanced Engineering group established a cutting-edge methodology to simulate, engineer and design our products. The Advanced Engineering Group provides computer simulation, innovative physical testing, and advanced prototyping, as strategic solutions to improve our customer’s seat comfort.
In conjunction with VirtualComfort™, advanced product development through prototyping is becoming a necessary tool in our rapidly evolving industry. RapidPro™ offers industry leading development and prototype services from CAD data to finished parts with two options. Our quick prototyping option provides a low run, disposable process at our prototype facility. A higher run prototype option is also offered, which can be transferred to our Woodbridge owned production manufacturing lines.
Ultimately, these services provide accurate results to deliver today’s benchmark in product development.
